The LIVE LUMANI Global College Application Bootcamp — At a Glance —
Most college application programs look the same — crash course, limited drafts, little personal attention. The Live Lumani College Application Bootcamp is different. With global guidance, students don’t just submit stronger U.S. applications — they gain options in the U.K. and Canada, ensuring broader pathways to success. It combines deep instruction, relentless editing, and boutique mentorship inside a selective, community-oriented cohort. Students don’t just craft a college application — they master the art of telling an unforgettable personal story.
-
We start with an intensive foundation weekend to teach strategy and storytelling skills that last a lifetime, then follow a tight weekly schedule that keeps students accountable—no last‑minute cramming.
-
No caps. No junior editors. I personally review every draft until it’s genuinely application‑ready.
Students will also receive a Personal Positioning Brief (one-pager) that connects their activities to a narrative. This allows them to repurpose essays effectively for additional schools, even beyond those focused on in our direct sessions.
-
Students work directly with me throughout—Harvard admit and valedictorian—and I am available around the clock for questions or concerns, with a guaranteed 24hr response time.
-
A capped peer group with weekly writing sessions so like minded students have the opportunity to create bonds and advise one another. Students never have to work in isolation, so momentum and accountability are built in.
-
Students will be hand selected by me to ensure boutique, individualized attention for every student and peace of mind for parents.
Bottom line: You aren’t buying a crash course; you’re securing a one‑of‑a‑kind experience that combines focused attention on your child, community accountability, and unmatched personal growth.
What People Are Saying
UT Austin Admit:
“I remember starting the college application process and feeling extremely overwhelmed, anxious, and lost. I would read the essay prompts and honestly had no idea where to start, what the colleges wanted to hear, and all I’d think was “I could never do this.” I decided to step out of my comfort zone and ask Obie for help knowing she would more than willingly lend out a helping hand. She looked at my essays, helped me analyze what I wrote and put it in a way that was extremely digestible, straight to the point but would also appeal to the college admission people.
Harvard Admit:
“Working with Obie was a great experience! Obie is incredibly genuine, and her advice was both helpful and illuminating during the college application process. I highly recommend going to Obie for all college-related questions as she will give you honest advice layered with care and compassion.”

Please note: Most Early Action/Early Decision I deadlines fall on Nov 1, but some schools (e.g., Georgia Tech, UNC–Chapel Hill) have earlier dates. If your student is targeting a school with an earlier deadline, I’ll ensure their process is accelerated during the program.Next Steps

Decisions are made on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed as they come in, and once the class is full, enrollment closes. Families of accepted students will be contacted directly to schedule an Admissions Call.
-
After acceptance—you’ll receive a formal admissions email and be invited to schedule a brief Admissions Call.
On this call, I will personally walk parents through tuition, program expectations, and enrollment logistics. If I cannot reach you by phone, I will follow up by email.
-
I focus on top priority applications (1–3 schools) but give students the tools and narrative (in the form of a Personal Positioning One-Pager) to help repurpose essays across all other schools.
-
Plan for 10 hours/week between 1:1 calls, writing labs, and edits. Structure is built in, ensuring your student’s time is used efficiently.
-
All students will use the same communication platform during the bootcamp to keep things simple and consistent (such as WhatsApp, GroupMe, or Email). In the application form, I’ll ask for student preferences so I can select the platform that works best for the majority.
Parents will receive routine updates via email. For important matters (like admissions decisions or urgent issues), I will also reach out by phone.
